Some aromatic or rare drugs, which are not suitable for heating or boiling, should be smashed into fine powder to be taken after infused in medicinal solution or warm boiled water, such as Niuhuang (Calculus Boris), artificial Shexiang (Mosehus), Hupo (  Succinum ). Besidespowder and fresh juice of the herbs should also be taken after infused, e.g. Zixue (Powder), Chenxiang (Ligrum Aquilariae Resinatum ) powder, Rougui ( Cortex Cinnamomi) powder, Shensanqi ( Radix Notoginseng ) powder, fresh lotus root juice and fresh carrot juice, etc. Moreover, the herb dregs should be well pressed to get the left juice after a decoction is made so as to increase the extracting rate of drugs.
