1) Guasha therapy for hemiplegia after apoplexy:
Head: holographic acupints areas -- one third of midline of forehead and the apical string of the head, one third (offside) of the upper and middle inclined string of the top temple, Du meridian -- Baihui (DU20).

Back: Du meridian -- from Dazhui (DU14) to Yaoyangguan (DU3); Jiaji (EX- B 2): On the back and low back,17 points on each side, below the spinous processes from the 1st thoracic to the 5th lumbar vertebrae,0.5 cun lateral to the posterior midline.

Upper limbs: Large intestine meridian -- affected side Jianyu (LI 15), Quchi (LI 11), Hegu (LI 4); small intestine: -- affected side Jianzhen (SI 9); tri-jiao meridian -- affected side from Zhigou (TE6) to Waiguan (TE5).

Lower limbs: Gallbladder meridian -- affected side Huantiao (GB30), Fengshi (GB31), Yanglingquan (GB34), Xuanzhong (GB39); Urinary bladder meridian -- affected side Yinmen (BL37), Weizhong (BL 40), Chengshan (BL57); stomach meridian -- affected side Zusanli (ST 36), Fenglong (ST 40).

2) Guasha therapy for aphasia after apoplexy:
Head and neck parts: holographic acupoints areas -- one third of midline of forehead and the apical string of the head, one third (offside) of the upper and middle inclined string of the top temple, Du meridian -- from Fengfu (DU16) to Yamen (DU15), Ren meridian -- Lianquan (RN23), Tiantu (RN22).

Upper limbs: pericardium channel -- bilateral Neiguan (PC6); heart channel -- bilateral Tongli (HT5); large intestine meridian -- bilateral Hegu (LI 4).

Cupping Therapy
Acupoints Selected: Temple, Yintang, Jingming (BL 1), Xiaguan (ST7), Jiache (ST6), Tianzhong, Geshu (BL17), Ganshu (BL 18), Shenshu (BL23), Chize (LU5), Quchi (LI 11), Shousanli (LI 10), Hegu (LI 4), Huantiao, Fengshi, Yanglingquan, Weizhong (BL 40), Chengshan (BL57), Futu (ST 32), Xiyan, Futu (ST 32)

Methods:
1) Leaving cupping: at the lateral decubitus position of the patient, you should leave the cupping sites up. You should cup the sites with autovac and dry cups for 15 minutes once a day and ten times as one treatment period.

2) Acucupping: you should select the acupoints according to the diseased region. Concretely speaking, you should stab first, and then cup the stabbed site after flash of fire for 10-15 minutes.

3) Moving cupping: you should cup the back after flash of fire, and then move along du meridian as well as its two sides several times till erubescence appears. Elders and those whose body is weak should be cupped lightly.
