Common symptoms: Distention or pain in the hypochondrium. flanks and abdomen that moves from one place to another, and is sometimes relieved or worsened, or changes with emotions, and string-like pulse.
Tongue manifestations: The tongue may be normal. In the presence of abdominal distention and fullness, the tongue can be lightly red with slightly slimy fur(Fig. 3 - 21) or whitish slimy and dry fur(Fig. 3 - 22).

In the presence of qi and blood stagnation, the tongue may be lightly purple with possible petechia(Fig. 3 - 23).
