Acupuncture Point Yangbai (GB14)
Location:
Sit upright with one's back propped; 1 cun vertically above the midpoint of the eyebrow, or on the vertical line passing through the puple, 1 cun above the eyebrow.

Function:
Refreshing oneself and improving eyesight, expelling wind and clearing heat.

Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-frontal belly of occipitofrontal muscle.
There are the lateral branches of the supraorbital verve and the lateral branches of the supraorbital artery and vein on this area.

Indications:
Pain in the frontal region, pain of the orbital ridge, eye pain, Vertigo, fickering eyelid, blepharoptosis, and lacrimation.

Prescription:
Combined use with SibaiST2 (Sibai (ST2)) for treatment of blepharospasm; with FengchiGB20 (Acupuncture Single Point Fengchi (GB20)) for treatment of conjunctivitis; and with YintangEXHN3 (EX-HN3), SibaiST2 (ST2), HeguLI4 (Hegu (LI 4) Yuan-Source Point), and TongziliaoGB1 (Tongziliao (GB 1)">Tongziliao (GB 1)) for treatment of electric ophthalmia.

Methods:
Insert the needle subcutaneously to 0.3-0.5 cun depth; needling response: local numbness and distention; moxibustion: using 3-7 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
