Points: ① Weishu (BL21) to Pishu (BL20), and Zhongwan (Ren 12)   to Shangwan (Ren 13). ② Liangmen (SI 21) to Chengman (ST 20), and Weicang (BL 50) to Yishe (BI 49).

Technique: First using the first group of points. If the first are not effective, use the second group of points. In the application, sterilize  the point first, insert a big-curved triangular needle with No.1 catgut   thread into the skin from a point l cm away from the acupoint and out  from a point l cm away from another acupoint through the muscular  membrane and muscular layer, cut away the end of the thread above  the skin, lift the skin in order to embed the thread completely inside,  and cover a piece of sterilized gauze on it for three to five days. Embedding again 20 to 30 days later.
