1. "Ironing" the eyes
Rub the palms against each other until the palms get warm. Then, open the eyes and place the palms on the eyes respectively. Let the warm palms "iron" the eye-balls. When the palms become cool, rub them against each other to "iron" the eyeballs again. Repeat the exercise for three to five times at a time. Do the exercise for several times a day. The exercise warms and activates yangqi, improves sight and refreshes people.
2. Kneading the canthi
After holding breathing, knead and press the four corners of the eyes with the hands until the feeling of being slightly warm and suffocating occurs. Then, take a breath and end the exercise. 3. Digitally pressing massage on the acupoints
Digitally press Sizhukong (TE 23), Yuyao (EX -HN 4), or Zanzhu (BL 2), Sibai (ST 2), Taiyang (EX-HN 5), etc. with the palmar side of the index finger or Qugu , the first joint of the back of the thumb. The manipulation varies gradually from the gentle one to the forceful one until there appears the feeling of being markedly sore and distending. Then, knead and stroke the acupoints gently for several times. The exercise makes the eyes healthy, improves sight and cures ocular diseases.
