1) Beta Glucan
Beta glucan is a very significant supplement that every blood glucose disorder sufferer should consider. Hundreds of research studies have been done on beta glucan for the past 30 years. It has been proven to be the most powerful immune system enhancer and regulator known to man including interferon-alpha. It makes no difference if you use yeast or oat glucan as these are both true 1/3 glucans. Mushroom glucans are too expensive. A large number of medical studies were done on animals followed by many human studies to verify the benefits of beta glucan with blood glucose disorders. Beta glucan has also been shown to be very effective in lowering cholesterol and triglycerides.
2) Peppermint Oil
Peppermint naturally lowers blood glucose in your body because it speeds up the digestive process which in turn helps to eliminate food from our body which does not give insulin time to be used in our blood stream. This home remedy for high blood sugar is amazing but be sure to check with your doctor if you are using insulin. I am a type 1 diabetic and when I started using peppermint oil my blood glucose dropped a lot.

3) Mango Natural Remedy
If you have elevated blood sugar a great natural remedy that will really help is to make a powder out of dried mango leaves and then mix with a little water to create a paste. Eat about 2 teaspoons daily.
4) Lipoic Acid
Lipoic acid (also referred to as thioctic or "LA") is an antioxidant that occurs naturally in our bodies. Lipoic acid is the most important natural home remedy you can take as a supplement for high blood sugar problems and also diabetes. Our normal food has small amounts of this. Exercise and diet are the fundamental cure for blood sugar disorders but lipoic acid, more than any other supplement, will improve our blood sugar metabolism and protect our organs from the deterioration caused by high blood sugar. Go here to read some of the many studies that have been done on Lipoic Acid and Blood Sugar. Anyone beyond 40 years of age should take lipoic acid because of its powerful antioxidant properties. If you have a serious blood sugar problem you can take 400 mg twice a day morning and evening for a year. Otherwise, just to receive the antioxidant benefits, take 400 mg a day. Lipoic acid is non-toxic, safe and inexpensive.
5) Vitamin E
Vitamin E is second in line as the most valuable supplement for blood glucose disorders. Our diets are very low in vitamin E because the main source is whole grains and most of us eat only refined flour products (which is one thing you should consider changing if you haven’t already). Only use the natural mixed tocopherols which cost a few dollars extra, and not the single d-alpha tocopherol. You only need 200 units a day (the RDA is only 30 IU daily). The amount of clinical research done around the world on vitamin E and blood glucose problems is vast and very compelling.
6) Magnesium
Magnesium works wonders as a natural remedy for high blood sugar. Magnesium is lost through urination so we need to make sure we are either taking a magnesium supplement or eating a diet rich in magnesium which would include whole grains, spinach, peas, nuts and seeds.
