TCM Treatment Evaluation for Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
PART ONE: Research of pelvic congestion syndrome treatment
Objective
To study the effective treatment of pelvic congestion syndrome method.
Methods
Select from August 2009 to May 2012 in our medical center for treatment and diagnosis of pelvic congestion syndrome 55 cases, patients were treated with combination of TCM and Western medicine.
Results
In the 55 patients, 35 cases were clinically cured; symptom relief, relief in 16 cases; no effect in 4 cases.
Conclusion
Combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine therapy for pelvic congestion syndrome patients have obvious curative effect, deserve further to promote the use of.
PART TWO: Chinese Medicine Sequential Therapy in Treating Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
Objective
To observe the clinical effects of the series of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions on pelvic congestion syndrome.
Methods
100 cases of pelvic congestion syndrome patients were divided into treatment group and control group, 50 cases in each group. Treatment group received series of prescriptions for pelvic congestion sequentially, while control group was treated with intravenous drip of "Compound Danshen Injection". The change of the clinical symptoms, pelvic blood flow and blood viscosity in both groups were observed before and after treatment.
Results
The clinical symptoms, pelvic blood flow and blood viscosity were improved more remarkably(P 0.05) in treatment group than in control group.
Conclusion
This series of prescriptions for pelvic congestion is effective for pelvic congestion syndrome.
