Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, also called "minimal brain dysfunction" (MBD), is a group of syndromes occurring during the childhood clinically marked by distractibility, hyperkinesia, susceptibility to impetuosity and wilfulness as well as difficulty in study which do not match the age obviously. However, the intelligence of the infantile patient is normal or near to normal. Generally speaking, as one of the most commonly-seen mental disorder during the childhood, the syndrome occurs at the school-age, and reaches its climax at the age of 8 to 10. Self recovery is possible during the adolescence.
