1. Kidney Essence Deficiency
Essence, or Jing, is a unique concept in Chinese medicine. Jing is the foundation of our bone marrow and is vital for strong bones. Essence is rare, and it must be preserved as it is incredibly difficult to restore once squandered. When our Jing is completely exhausted, we die.
2. Spleen Qi Deficiency
The Spleen is pivotal in the production of Blood that necessary for nourishing bones and tendons. Our daily energy that way utilize is called Qi, or Chi; when Qi is exhausted we have to dip in to our Essence for our daily energy which compromises our health and speeds the aging process up.
3. Liver Blood Deficiency
Liver controls the Blood that nourishes the sinew, tendons, and joints. The Liver and Kidney are the two organs that control bones and sinews, tonification of both organs is equally important. Kidney Jing along with Liver Blood builds bones, increases bone density, prevents fractures, and promotes healing.
In Chinese medicine, when treating a disease, the doctors take everything into into consideration, including climatic changes, environmental variations, emotional changes, the diet, the urine and the stool, the sleep, and the disorder of sex life. That is the feature of the Three Pathogens Theory in TCM. This etiology doctrine built on the basis of the macro methodology entirely differs from that of Western medicine. It is on the basis of the microscopic and pathologic anatomy. But it is exactly a biological, psychological, social and new medical model that Western medicine is attempting to pursue. While Chinese medicine established its own system with this medical model two thousand years ago.
Chinese doctor doesn’t considers static anatomy as a starting point for understanding the diseases, and does not rely on detection equipments. On the contrary, Chinese doctor depends on the unique ways of TCM diagnosis to experience and study the human dynamic life information. Also it is based on syndrome differentiation to guide the disease therapy.
