soup of black soybean, astragalus root for thrombopenic purpura

PROCESS: First get rid of the gills and entrails of the Clarias Fuscus, then stew them in an earthenware pot together with black soybean and astragalus root.  If the patient has a poor appetite, add atngerine peel (Pericarpium Cirri Reticulatae) to the soup to regulate qi.

DIRECTIONS: To be taken every other day and several doses on end.  It can be taken in two or three separate doses in case absorption should be affected because black soybean is difficult to digest.
Patients suffering from Thrombopenic Purpura marked by the type of failure of qi to keep the blood flowing in the vessels can select any from the last four recipes above to take.
