This 28 year old Pu’er comes from the large leafed trees of Yunnan province. When brewed, the characteristic scent of fine aged tea is present but is pleasantly combined with an uncommon, delicate floral aroma. The hint of floral scent is echoed in the flavour, which is full, round and supremely complex. This tea is incredibly robust and can be infused quickly or for an extremely long time without becoming bitter. This allows for countless options that you can enjoy experimenting with in order to bringing out a wide variety of flavours.
The red-brown liquor is reminiscent of a fine wine in its complexity and structure. And as with all Pu’er tea, this aged Pu’er will continue to improve in flavour and value as time progresses. You can try this Pu’er at different points in time and enjoy a new experience each time. Be prepared to be amazed if you are a lover of dark tea.
