Indications
Syndrome due to Yin-cold of the liver and kidney, marked by pain in the lower abdomen, hernia, pale tongue with whitish coating, and deep taut pulse; including external abdominal hernia, ahdominal pain and sterility with the above symptoms.
Ingredients
Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 6-9 g,
Rou Gui (Cortex Cinnamomi) 3-6 g,
Gou Qi (Fructus Lycii) 9 g,
Xiao Hui Xiang (Fructus Foeniculi) 6 g,
Wu Yao (Radix Linderae) 6 g,
Fu Ling (Poria) 6 g,
Chen Xiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum) 3 g,
Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) 3 pieces.
Explanation
Dang Gui and Gou Qi: Warming and reinforcing the liver and kidney.
Rou Gui and Xiao Hui Xiang: Warming up the kidney and dispelling pathogenic cold.
Wu Yao and Su He Xiang: Regulating the flow of Qi to relieve pain.
Fu Ling: Inducing diuresis to strengthen the spleen.
Sheng Jiang: Expelling pathogenic cold and regulating the function of the stomach.
Administration
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
