This is a common skin disease with symmetrically distributed and multiform skin lesions and local itching. The lesions can be classified as acute, subacute and chronic types.
Treatment:
Foot massage: The massage is applied to parathyroid gland (13), lung (14), adrenal gland (21)), kidney (22), ureter (23), urinary bladder (24), coeliac plexus (20)) and spleen (34) reflecting areas and the lymph nodes (upper body, chest and abdomen, 39, 41 and 40) reflecting areas according to the location of skin lesions (Fig. 105).
Foot acupuncture:
1) Meridianal acupoints:: A reducing acupuncture technique is applied to Dadu (SP 2) acutpoint with the needle retained for 20 minutes to clear heat and resolve dampness.
2) Foot acupoints: A moderate acupuncture stimulation is applied to Lung (FA-P 6) and Tonsil 1 (FA-D 2) acupoints with the needles retained for 20 minutes.
