This is a common disease of middle-aged and older women with breast masses caused by stagnation of liver qi or accumulation of phlegm and dampness.
Treatment:
Foot massage: The massage is applied to chest (43), lymph nodes (chest, 41), lymph nodes (upper body, 39), lymph nodes (abdomen, 40), kidney (22), ureter (23), urinary bladder (24) and reproductive gland (36) reflecting areas on foot for 20 to 30 minutes. The massage should be applied over a long period of time, and the massage should also be applied thoroughly to the chest at the same time (Fig. 99).
Foot acupuncture:
1) Meridianal acupoints: At Zulinqi (GB41), Diwuhui (GB 42) and Taichong (LR 3) acupoints, a reducing or balanced reinforce- reducing acupuncture technique is selected depending on the nature of the disease. The needles are retained for 30 minutes.
2) Foot acupoint: A light stimulation of acupuncture is applied at Lung (FA-P 6) acupoint and the needle is retained for 30 minutes.
