Hand copy from a Ming manuscript
The anonymous Hui hui yao fang was written at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. Only 4 of 36 juan survive. The fragments include the table of contents and formulas used in internal and external medicine. The book is of great interest because it documents the special character of interaction between Muslim and Chinese medicine. The fragments are preserved at the National Beijing Library. This copy is in the collection of the Chinese Museum for History of Medicine.
