(1) Position Hypotension: it refers to the systolic pressure lower over 2.67 kPa, due to the sudden change of clinostatism to up-right, or standing for a long time when getting up in the morning, marked by dark vision, dizziness even going to fall down, is mainly seen among 40-70 years old men, can be caused by lying in bed of prolong diseases, weak constitution or taking hypotensor with the function of extending vein.
(2) Symptom Hypotension: it’s caused by some diseases or medicines, such as syringomyelia, severe stenosis of bicuspid valve or aortic valve, chronic malnutrition, taking hypotensor, etc.
(3) Constitution Hypotension: Generally, this disease is considered that related to the weak constitution, and mainly seen among 20-40 years old women with familial heredity history, some people without any symptom, some people accompanied with fatigue, amnesia, dizziness, headache, fluster, even syncope, or precordial oppressing sensation. Many patients manifested as headache, dizziness, chest tightness, short breath, lassitude, inattention, light sleep, poor appetite, swelling in the feet, etc. All of these symptoms will be obvious in the summer with humid weather. This disease is mainly seen among women with weak constitution. There are not obvious abnormal feelings in some people. TCM believes that hypotension is caused by deficiency of spleen-kidney and yang-qi. The treatment should be paid attention to warm spleen-kidney and upbear yang-qi.
(4) Special examination: it can be seen arrhythmia, abdominal conduction, ventricular hypertrophy, Preexcitation Syndrome, prolong QT, disorder of pacemaker, myocardial ischemia, MI (Myocardial Infarction) in the electrocardiogram.
