Common Types of Syndromes
(1) Deficiency of both Qi and Blood Syndrome: The blood pressure lower than the normal value, pale and lustreless complexion, dizziness, vertigo, palpitation, short breath, lassitude, scanty menstruation or amenorrhea, pale tongue with thin coating, thready pulse.
(2) Defficiency of the Middle Energizer Qi Syndrome: The blood pressure lower than the normal value, dizziness, vertigo, lassitude, disinclination to speak, short breath, pale tongue, deep and thready pulse, accompanied with gastroptosis and splanchnoptosia.
(3) Deficiency of both Qi and Yin Syndrome: The blood pressure lower than the normal value, accompanied with dizziness, weakness, short breath and less desire for speaking, dry mouth with desire for drinking, emaciated physique, insomnia, dreaminess, red tongue with thready pulse.
(4) Deficiency of both Heart-kidney and Yang Syndrome: The blood pressure lower than the normal value, pale and lustreless complexion, fluster, short breath, dizziness, chest tightness, lassitude, waist soreness, aversion to cold, cold limbs, frequent urination, pale tongue with white coating, deep and slow or deep and thready pulse.
(5) Deficiency of both Liver-kidney and Yin Syndrome: lower blood pressure, dizziness, vertigo, red eye, tinnitus, soreness in the waist and limbs, dry throat and mouth, insomnia, amnesia, hot hands and feet center, numbness of the limbs, night sweat, red tongue with little coating, thready pulse.
(6) Phlegm-damp Brewing Internally Syndrome: The blood pressure lower than the normal value, dizziness, heaviness of the head, chest tightness, nausea, poor appetite, lassitude, somnolence, heaviness of the limbs, ozostomia, white and greasy coating, soft and slippery pulse.
