The patient is in the sitting position. Standing behind the patient, the practitioner inserts his two hands through the armpits to hug the patient’s chest roundly. Then the patient’s lumbar is rotated and shacked from left to right, flexed and extended. As the patient movements are coordinated and his muscles are relaxed, the practitioner lifts the body postero-superiorly briefly at the very time. A restoration sound can be heard (Fig 302). This manipulation is suitable for the treatment of the subluxation of the lumbar vertebrae accompanied by increased physiological curve of the lumbar vertebrae or pseudo lumbar spondylolisthesis.
