Starting from dorsal ulnar border of tip of the fourth finger, triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang absorbs qi of pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin. It goes along dorsal ulnar side of the fourth finger to dorsal aspect of palm and runs obliquely to center dorsal side of wrist which is in depression, ascends along wrist and passes between ulna and radius to radial side of olecranon of elbow joint. Ascending from triceps brachii to posterior side of shoulder joint, running upward shoulder toward anterior side of shoulder, it penetrates into chest at supraclavicular fossa and is distributed in pericardium, thorax and upper energizer organize. Its trunk descends and passes through disphragmatic muscle then is distributed in middle energizer and lower energizer.

There is one branch divided from chest and comes out of supraclavicular fossa, curved line of occipital bone goes to posterior ear, its embranchment ascends along superior angle of ear and curves around to anterior ear then to upper aspect of ansa capitis, runs downward obliquely and curve anterior lower aspect of cheekbone then ascends to inferior side of eye. Its trunk goes from posterior aspect of ear to ear and comes out of from anterior aspect of ear, then runs upward obliquely along upper side of ansa capitis and intersects with anterior branch to external canthus, it is associated with gallbladder meridian and communicates with qi of gallbladder meridian.

In addition, triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang has collateral at Weiyang acupoint which is at lateral side of popliteal fossa and is associated with bladder meridian of foot-taiyang.

Collateral of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang:
Collateral of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang starts from Waiguan acupoint of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang which is 2 cun above dorsal side of wrist. Forking from only one branch, it runs upward along triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang to Quepen point and is distributed in chest and pericardium.

Triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang and collateral which are similar with collateral of pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin have no first branch line which communicates with meridians in internal and external relation---pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin directly.

Divergent collateral of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang:
Divergent collateral of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang starts from triple energizer meridian vessel of hand-shaoyang which is above wrist and ascends along shoulder to neck, then descends proneness supraclavicular fossa to chest and is distributed in upper energizer of thorax, running downward and passing through disphragmatic muscle, it is distributed in middle energizer and lower energizer and forms parallel in connection of main meridian.

Divergent collateral of triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang is distributed in pericardium of chest and triple energizers and enforces the relationship between triple energizer meridian, thorax and belly cavity.
