Location
Localized in the erect sitting position or supine position and make the palm dowmwards. On the ulnar side of the distal phalanx of the ring finger, 0.1   cun distance from the nail. (Fig. 18)
   
Regional Anatomy
Skin--subcutaneous tissue--the base of nail. The subcutaneous contains the palmar digital proprial nerve derived from the ulnar nerve, and the arterial and venous network formed by the palmar digital proprial artery and vein.
