(1) Syndrome of accumulation of damp-heat
Main symptoms: Erosion and congestion of cervix, profuse leukorrhea with yellow or yellow and white color,or multi-colored sticky and pus-like leukorrhea with stinky odor, accompanied by pudendal pruritus, prolapsing pain in the lower abdomen, reddish tongue with yellowish greasy or whitish greasy fur and taut pulse.
Therapeutic methods: Clearing away heat and draining dampness.

(2) Syndrome of exuberance of heat toxin
Main symptoms: Congestion and swelling of cervix, profuse leukorrhea with yellow or yellow and green color like pus, or multi-colored leukorrhea with sticky and thick texture and putrid odor, pudendal pruritus, even scorching pain, lower abdominal distending pain, fever and bitter taste in the mouth, yellow and scanty urine, retention of dry feces, red tongue with yellow and greasy fur as well as slippery and rapid pulse.
Therapeutic methods: Clearing away heat and removing toxin, resolving dampness and eliminating turbid substance.

(3) Syndrome of asthenia of spleen qi
Main symptoms: Chronic cervicitis, profuse and incessant leukorrhea with white or light-yellow color, thick and sticky texture, no odor, facial dropsy, cold limbs, dispiritedness and lassitude, anorexia and loose stool, light-colored tongue with tooth prints, white or greasy tongue fur, slow and weak pulse.
Therapeutic methods: Strengthening the spleen and nourishing qi, elevating yang and eliminating dampness.

(4) Syndrome of asthenia of kidney qi
Main symptoms: Chronic cervicitis, profuse leukorrhea with white color and thin texture, no odor, severe lumbago, bright-white complexion, cold limbs, dispiritedness and lassitude, clear and profuse urine, light-colored tongue with white fur, thin and deep pulse.
Therapeutic methods: Nourishing the kidney and strengthening qi.
