Taeniasis can be divided into tenia syndrome and cysticercus syndrome in syndrome differentiation according to the clinical manifestations. Tenia syndrome mainly manifests white teniform segments of the adults in stool; cysticercus syndrome is due to the fact that cysticerci move around and reach subcutaneous muscle, cerebral cortex, cerebellum or basis encephali, etc., manifested by the palpable circular or oval tubercle with the size of soybean, or seizures of epilepsy, or staggering gait, or paralysis, or visual disturbance, even blindness.
