Main Symptoms: Sudden onset, frequent appearance of fresh red papules, thick accumulated scale, obvious petechial hemorrhage, new papules with intolerable pruritus induced by traumatic scratch, often accompanied by vexation, dry mouth, dry stool, brown urine, reddened tongue, yellowish coating, wiry and slippery orrapid pulse.

2. Blood Deficiency and Wind Dryness Syndrome
Main Symptoms: Long duration, light color in papules, decreased scale, slight pruritus, pale tongue, thin and whitish or scanty coating, and thready pulse.

3. Oi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Syndrome
Main Symptoms: Thick papules with dark red color lasting for long duration, purple dark tongue, or purple patches and spots on the tongue, hesitant or fine and slow pulse.

4. Syndrome of Dysfunction of Thoroughfare Vessel and Conception Vessel
Main Symptoms: In females, papules in light color with less scale, relieved or disappeared in pregnancy, recur, rent or aggravated after delivery, history of irregular menstruation, pale tongue, thin and whitish coating, soft and thready pulse.

5. Syndrome of Obstruction of Col laterals by Wind and Dampness
Main Symptoms: Extensive papules over the whole body, swelling and pain and motor impairment in ioints mostly in the joints of the fingers and toes, deformed after long duration, difficult to extend straightly, even with the big joints of the knee, ankle and spine involved in serlous cases, pale tongue, thin white and greasy coating, wiry and slippery or soft pulse.

6. Syndrome of Mixture of Heat Toxin and Dampness
Main Symptoms: In addition to erythema and desquamation, repeated appearance of dense patches of pustules in size from the needle tip to millet grain.with erosion on the surface and desquamation, often on the palmar and plantar parts,may also on the whole body, accompanied by fever, excessive thirst, dry stool and scanty urine in Severe cases, reddened tongue or with gray and black color, yellowish and greasy coating, slippery or slippery and rapid pulse.
