INGREDIENTS
Carp, Cyprinus Carpio, 1 (about 250 to 500g)
Corn stigma, Stigma Maydis, 30g
Red phaseolus bean,Semen Phaseoli, 30g
Waxgourd peal, Exocarpium Benincasae, 15g
Poria (Fuling), 15g
Umbellate pore fungus, Polyporus, 15g
Rhizome of oriental water plantain, Rhizoma Alismatis, 15g
Tangerine peel, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, 6g
Green Chinese onion, Bulbus Allii Fistulosi (right amount)
Fresh ginger, Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (right amount)
PROCESS: first get rid of the scales of the carp, remove its entrails, wash it clean and place it in an earthenware pot; then put all the other ingredients into the pot with a right amount of water; after all this having been done, stew it with slow fire until the fish is well-done.
DIRECTIONS: The fish is to be eaten and the soup to be drunk. Its indications are the same as those of Composite Drink of Corn Stigma.
