INGREDIENTS
Herba Cistanchis (Roucongrong) 60g
Chinese raspberry, Fructus Rubi 30g
Tortoise, Chinemys reevesii 1000g
PROCESS: First soak the desertliving cistanche and the Chinese raspberry in 300ml of thin salt solution for 30 minutes. Then put the meat of the tortoise with its shell, the soaked desertliving cistanche and the Chinese raspberry with the soaking salt solution in a big earthenware pot, and pour in cold water until all of them are inundated. Afterwards, heat them with strong fire. When the water begins to boil, add half a spoonful of fine table salt, and stew them with slow fire for four hours until the shell of the tortoise is disintegrated and the meat is well-done.
DIRECTIONS: The soup is to be drunk and the tortoise meat to be eaten. It is to be taken in two days, twice a day, before meals. It is applicable to patients suffering from Seminal Emission marked by the type of unconsolidation due to kidney deficiency accompanied with the symptom of neurosism.
