INGREDIENTS
Chinese caterpillar fungus, Cordyceps (Dongchongxiacao) 10g
Tremella, Tremella 15g
Crystal (or white) sugar 30g
PROCESS: Have the Chinese caterpillar fungus washed clean and wrapped up; put it into a small earthenware pot together with the tremella and crystal sugar. Stew it slowly over a low fire for 2 to 3 hours; take it away from the fire and remove the packet of Chinese caterpillar fungus (wash the gauze clean and keep it for use next time).
DIRECTIONS: Take a small bowlful at a time, twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and once in the evening before going to bed; gargle after eating it.
The four recipes listed above are applicable to cases with the type of deficiency of the lung-yin.
