INGREDIENTS
Abalone shell, 25g
Cassia seed, Semen Cassiae (Juemingzi)">Semen Cassiae (Juemingzi) 10g
White chrysanthemum flower, Flos Chrysanthemi (Juhua) 15g
Polished round-grained rice, Semen Oryzae Sativae 100g
Crystal sugar 6g
PROCESS: Put the cassia seed in a pot to have it parched; take it out when it sends out fragrance; decoct the chrysanthemum flowers and abalone shellin an earthenware potto get extract and remove the dregs. Have the rice washed clean, make gruel with it and the extract; add crystal sugar and then, take it.
DIRECTIONS: Take such gruel once in the morning and once in the evening, with 3 to 5 days as a course of treatment.
EFFICACY: Nourishing the liver, checking exuberance of yang, removing pathogenic heat from the liver and improving acuity of sight.
INDICATIONS: Conjunctival conjestion, swelling and pain in the eyes, photophobia and delacrimation, distension and pain in the head, or giddiness, dim vision, dryness and discomfort of the eyes and other symptoms caused by hyperactivity of the liver-yang resulting from deficiency of the liver and the kidney.
