INGREDIENTS
Bighead atractylodes rhizome, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu) 30g
Dired ginger, Rhizoma Zingiberis (Ganjiang) 6g
Chinese-date, Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae 250g
Chicken’s gizzard-skin, Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli 15g
Wheat flour 500g
Rapeseed oil and salt (right amount for each)
PROCESS: Put the bighead atractylodes thizome and dried ginger into a gauze bag and tie up its opening; put the bag together with the Chinese-dates into a cooking pot; add just the right amount of water and heat it over a strong fire until the water boils; change it to a low fire and go on boiling it for about an hour; remove the medicinal bag and the Chinese-date stones, stir the Chinese-dates to make a paste for later use. Grind the chicken's gizzard-skin into fine powder, mix it with the flour, and put the flour into the Chinese-date paste; add just the right amount of water to make dough; divide the dough into several small lumps to make thin cakes; bake the cakes over a low fire until they are done.
DIRECTIONS: It can be taken as meals.
EFFICACY: Strengthening the spleen, nourishing qi, inducing appetite and promoting digestion.
INDICATIONS: Loss of appetite, Stomachache after meals, chronic diarrhea, chronic enterogastric diseases, etc.
