INGREDIENTS
Dangshen, Radix Codonopsis (Dangshen) 10g
Chinese-date, Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae 20g
Polished long-grained glutinous rice, Semen Oryzae Glutinosae 250g
White sugar 50g
PROCESS: Put dangshen and Chinese-dates in an earthenware pot, add water to make them expand. Decoct them in water for about 30 minutes and take out dangshen and Chinese-dates; wash the glutinous rice clean, put it in a big porcelain bowl with just the right amount of water and steam until the rice is done. Turn the bowl upside down to put the cooked rice on a plate. Put dangshen and Chinese-dates on the rice. Add white sugar into the prepared extract of daingshen and Chinese-dates and concentrate it, then, pour it on the cooked Chinese-date rice.
DIRECTIONS: It can be taken for breakfast.
EFFICACY: Strengthening the spleen and nourishing qi.
INDICATIONS: Deficiency of qi due to weak consititution, manifested as lassitude, palpitation, Insomnia, loss of appetite, loose stool, dropsy, etc.
