Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao)
Rhizoma Zingiberis (Ganjiang)
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao)
Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong)
Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren).

Explanation
Ma Huang and Gui Zhi: Dispersing wind-cold.

Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong: Tonifying blood and dredging collaterals.

Shi Gao: Being pungent and sweet in flavor and very cold in nature, facilitating the flow of the lung-Qi to clear away the lung-heat and preventing the other drugs warm in nature from producing heat.

Xing Ren: Discending the lung-Qi, assisting Shi Gao in removing heat from the lung to relieve asthma.

Ren Shen, Gan Jiang and Gan Cao: Replenishing qi, warm the spleen and stomach.

Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
