Indications
Syndrome due to retention of wind, cold and dampness pathogens in the channels and collaterals, marked by spasm and movable pain of the tendons, limited movement of the joints, prolonged and unhealing wind-stroke, numbness of the extremities, phlegm-dampness and retained blood in the channels and collaterals, heaviness in the loins and legs, or pain in the limbs, whitish tongue, and deep taut pulse; including such diseases with the above symptoms as sequel due to cerebral apoplexy, rheumatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Allolobophora caliginosa (Dilong) 66 g,
Rhizoma Arisaematis (Tiannanxing) 66 g,
Olibanum (Ruxiang) 66 g,
Myrrha (Moyao) 66 g.
Additives: old wine and honey
Explanation
Chuan Wu and Cao Wu: The principal drugs, dispelling wind, removing dampness, warming and clearing the channels and collaterals.
Tian Nan Xing: Drying dampness, resolving phlegm, removing phlegm-dampness in the channels and collaterals.
Ru Xiang and Mo Yao: Promoting the circulation of Qi and blood.
Di Long: Clearing away obstruction from the channels and collaterals.
Old wine: Enhancing the potency of all the other ingredients.
Administration
The ingredients are ground into fine powder and made into boluses with honey. 3 g of the bolus is taken with old wine or warm boiled water each time, twice daily.
