    Effect
    Soothe the liver and strengthen the spleen.

    Indications
    Dysmenorrhea, Chronic Nephritis, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, functional uterine bleeding, appendicitis during pregnancy, ascites due to cirrhosis, hypersplenism, Edema.

    Ingredients
    Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui) 9 g,
    Shao Yao 18 g,
    Poria (Fuling) 12 g,
    Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu) 12 g,
    Rhizoma Alismatis (Zexie) 12 g,
    Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) 9 g.

    Explanation
    Shao Yao: Astringing the liver to alleviate pain.

    Bai Zhu and Fu Ling: Strengthening the spleen and tonifying qi.

    Ze Xie: Promoting diuresis and eliminating dampness.

    Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong: Soothing the liver and tonifying blood.

    Administration
    All the drugs are ground into fine powder. 6 g of the powder is taken with warm wine three times a day.
