(1) Decoct 10 g of Flos Magnoliae (Xinyi) and 20 g of Radix Astragali (Huangqi) for oral administration, one dose a day. It is applicable to various syndromes of chronic nasosinusitis.
(2) Dry towel gourd powder: Burn 2 dry towel gourds into ash, then grind into powder for usage. Infuse 15g of the powder with boiling water for taking every morning. It can remove blood stasis and resolve toxin. It’s applicable to nasosinusitis, vice-nasosinusitis with smelly nasal mucus.
(3) Honeycomb: Chew one slice of honeycomb frequently, spit out the dregs after about 10 minutes, three times a day. It’s applicable to allergic rhinitis and nasosinusitis.
(4) Stew Egg with Magnolia Flower (Xinyihua Bao Jidan)
INGREDIENTS: Magnolia Flower(15g), Egg(2)
PROCESS: Boil magnolia flower and eggs into right amount of water until the eggs are well-done, shell them and go on cooking for a few seconds. The eggs are to be eaten and the soup to be drunk. It can resolve toxin and diminish inflammation. It’s applicable to chronic nasosinusitis and various rhinitis.
(5) Boil Egg with Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis (Daji) Root (Dajigen Jidan)
INGREDIENTS: Circium japonicum( 60g), Egg(3)
PROCESS: Boil Circium japonicum and eggs into right amount of water until the eggs are well-done, once a day, continuously take one week. It has the effect of moistening the lung, resolving toxin, nourishing yin and stopping bleeding. It’s applicable to nasosinusitis and epistaxis due to excessive fire in the lung channel.
Amur Corktree Bark(10g)
Process: Soak the Amur Corktree Bark into 100g of water for 24 hours, then remove the residue by filtering, boil before applying, drop the fluid into the nose, 3-4 times a day. It’s applicable to acute nasosinusitis.
(6) For chronic nasosinusitis, headache, and dizziness of the forehead, patients eat 3 apples every night, 20 days as a course of treatment, those symptoms will be relieved after 20 days.
