Common symptoms: Aversion to heat and preference to cold, or localized burning pain; red face and eyes, thirstiness and desire for cold drink; yellowish thick sputum and snivel; yellowish and scanty urine, constipation, or restlessness, even unconsciousness and delirium; or vomiting blood or bleeding somewhere; rapid pulse.
Tongue manifestations: Exterior heat syndrome presents light red tongue with thin yellowish fur (Fig. 3 - 35); interior heat syndrome presents red tongue(Fig. 3 - 36) .
