Bladder meridian sinew starts from little toe and have the main and the secondary branches, secondary branch ascends along dorsum side of little toe and ends at ankle joint (subordination muscles and tendons: short peroneal muscle, long peroneal muscle and short extensor muscle of toes); ascends obliquely from lateral malleolus along lateral side of lower limb and ends at lap (subordination muscles: long peroneal muscle and short peroneal muscle). Main branch starts from little toe and runs backward along lateral side of foot then ends at heelstick (subordination muscles: gastrocnemius and short peroneal muscle); ascends along tendo calcaneus and ends at lateral side of ham (subordination muscles: lateral gastrocnemius muscle); diverges from lateral side of gastrocnemius muscle and ascends posterior side of leg then ends at medial side of ham (subordination muscles: medial gastrocnemius muscle). Medial and lateral branches float along upper side of popliteal fossa to posterior side of thigh and ends at stern (subordination muscles: biceps muscle of thigh, semitendinosus muscle, semimembranous muscle and gluteus maximus); ascends from stern along spine to nape (subordination muscles: muscle tendon and trapezius muscle on superficial layer; musculus spinalis dorsi, spinalis capitis, semispinalis capitis muscle and splenius of head on deep layer).
There is branch at neck runs forward and ends at root of tongue (subordination muscles: posterior belly of digastric muscle and muscles of tongue), its main branch runs upward and ends at occipital bone (subordination muscles: splenius of head and semispinalis capitis muscle); ascends from occipital bone and passes corona capitis then descends forehead and ends at nose (subordination muscles: occipital muscle, fascia of head and frontal muscle) and is distributed over palpebra superior (subordination muscles: upper part of orbicularis muscle and muscle of palpebra superior); descends from nose and ends at nasal side (subordination muscles: nasal muscle and angular head of quadratus labii superioris muscle). It diverges two branches at inferior angle of scapula of back; the first branch runs obliquely from posterior aspect of armpit to upper aspect of armpit and passes shoulder-blade then ends at joint of shoulder peak (subordination muscles of this branch: parts of trapezius muscle). The second branch penetrates from posterior aspect of armpit into oxter and comes out of anterior aspect of armpit then runs obliquely and passes chest, it comes out of supraclaveicular fossa and runs upward then ends at mastoid process which is at posterior side of ear (subordination muscle: latissimus dorsi muscle, upper parts of major pectoral muscle and sternomastoid muscle). It diverges one branch from supraclaveicular fossa and runs obliquely then passes cheek and ends at nasal side (subordination muscle: anterior parts of platysma muscle, dilator naris of nasal muscle and lower aspect of quadrate muscle of upper lip).
Manifestation of disease of bladder meridian sinew:
After pathogenic factors of wind, dampness and cold, muscles of back and waist will be pain and limitation of movement, hip joint can not bend and knee joint can not extend or bend. Waist and back are rigidity and gastrocnemius muscle is spasm when stagnation of meridian qi.
Manifestation of season disease of meridian sinew:
Lunar calendar February is midspring and climate is Taiyang, bladder meridian is easy stagnation and obstruction of meridian qi, appears spasm of little toe and swelling of heelstick, spasm of muscle of popliteal fossa. Muscle spasm of latissimus dorsi muscle is opisthotonus. When nuchal region, armpit region and muscle of shoulder are spasm, shoulders can not superduct and wag, upper arms pains as kink. Treatment: prick quickly on pressure pain point by fire needle until to become effective.
