Kidney meridian sinew starts from little toe and runs obliquely then passes sole of foot to medial malleolus and ends at heelstick (subordination muscles: long flexor muscle of toes, short flexor muscle of toes, tendon and tendinous sheath), it crosses spleen meridian sinew; ascends from heelstick along medial aspect of gastrocnemius muscle and ends at knee joint (subordination muscles: medial gastrocnemius muscle), it crosses bladder meridian sinew; ascends from medial side of knee joint and along medial side of thigh then ends at pubic bone of perineal region (subordination muscles: medial vastus muscle, gracilis muscle, long adductor muscle and inferior segment of sartorius muscle); ascends from perineal region and penetrates into abdomen then ascends along both sides of abdomen and passes nape then ends at occipital bone (subordination muscles: parts of major psoas muscle, minor psoas muscle, intertransverse muscles, multifidus muscle, collilongus and splenius of head), it crosses small intestine meridian sinew.

Manifestation of disease of kidney meridian sinew:
After pathogenic factors of wind, dampness and cold, muscles which are at distribution areas of meridian sinew will pain, psoas will pain and sole of foot will be spasm when stagnation of meridian-QI, foot will be soft, weakness and cold when insufficiency of meridian qi.

Manifestation of season disease of meridian sinew:
Lunar calendar August is midsummer and Shaoyin qi is the main qi in climate, kidney meridian is easy stagnation or obstruction of meridian-QI and appears spasm of muscle of sole of foot, muscle which is at distribution areas of kidney meridian pains because of spasm.

Disease of the regular meridian will be epilepsy, muscle rigidity and muscle spasm; you can not bend forward and back and waist are reflexion when disease is at yang surface; you can not be hypsokinesis when disease is at yin surface and internal side. Treatment: prick quickly on pressure pain point by fire needle until to become effective.
