Liver meridian sinew starts from great toe and goes to dorsum of foot then ends at anterior aspect of medial malleolus (subordination muscles: long extensor tendon, short extensor tendon and tendon); ascends from medial malleolus then along medial aspect of tibia and ends below knee joint (subordination muscles: anterior tibial muscle, upper parts of gastrocnemius muscle); ascends from medial malleolus then along medial side of thigh and ends at pubic bone of perineal region (subordination muscles: gracilis muscle, pectineal muscle and adductor), it is associated with each meridian sinew.

Manifestation of disease of liver meridian sinew:
After pathogenic factors of wind, dampness and cold, it appears muscle relaxation and disease of hernia. Penis sinew will be erection when QI is excess; it will be impotence when deficiency of vital energy.

Manifestation of season disease of meridian sinew:
Lunar calendar September is the third month of autumn and the climate is end of two yins. Liver meridian sinew is easy stagnation or obstruction of meridian-QI and appears pain from great toe to region malleolaris medialis, spasm and pain of vastus medialis and anorthosis of penis, this is caused by internal damage of meridian-QI. If damage is caused by cold, testis and penis will shorten internal; if damage is caused by heat, penis will be elevation and uneasy to contract. During treatment we should unstop kidney to clear away inhibited qi of liver, it is also pricks quickly on pressure pain point by fire needle until to become effective to treat disease of muscle spasm.
