Points: The running course of the lung meridian of Hand-Taiyin, and the bilateral stemocleidomastoid muscles.
Technique: The patient is in a sitting position. The plum-blossom needle is used to tap the bilateral lung meridian and sternocleidomas toid muscles. Thirty minutes of tapping is required in each treatment until the skin turns slightly red. The method is applied during an asthma attack to bring relief.
