Here is a good home remedy for a blocked milk duct. The best preventive measure you can take is to simply nurse your baby frequently in order to empty the breast. By doing this, you are going to be more comfortable and also keep the inflammation down. Whatever areas are sore should be massaged. After you are finished nursing your baby, you should firmly massage your breast. Start massaging your breast at the top and go toward the nipple location. Get one teaspoon of castor oil and gently massage the breast starting at the center of your chest side of your breast and work across toward the other side of your breast in the direction of your arm pit area.
