Pelvic Inflammation in TCM
(1) Syndrome of accumulation and exuberance of damp-heat Main symptoms: Fever, aversion to cold, sweating, unpressable pain in the lower abdomen and sides of the lower abdomen, yellowish and pus-like leukorrhea, red tongue with yellow and greasy fur as well as slippery and rapid pulse.
(2) Syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis Main symptoms: Stabbing pain in the lower abdomen and sides of lower abdomen, even formation of mass,aching pain in the loins, irregular menstruation, profuse leukorrhea, lassitude, purplish tongue or with ecchymoses, whitish thin tongue fur and taut and unsmooth pulse.
(3) Syndrome of asthenia of both spleen and kidney Main symptoms: Dull pain in the lower abdomen and both sides of lower abdomen, even aching pain in the lumbosacral region, profuse and thin leukorrhea, spiritual lassitude, cold limbs, loose stool, thin and greasy tongue fur as well as thin and deep pulse.
