Essentials for diagnosis
(1) The disease occurs at the age of 2 to 15.
(2) It is multiple and quick in onset with mechanical involuntary movement and logoclonia.
(3) The symptoms vary from time to time, with slow repeated remission and exacerbation.
(4) The symptoms may be alleviated or controlled by the patient's will. Though longer time of this control is possible, it is only brief in most cases. After this period, the symptoms may be exacerbated reversely because of mental stress.
(5) Get rid of anxiety, concentrate mind and work with single-hearted devotion to make the symptoms remitted while various psychic and social factors make the symptoms exacerbated or remitted.
(6) The symptoms disappear during sleeping
In TCM, a disease or a symptom might be caused by one pathogenic factor, even two or three pathogenic factors. When diagnosing a disease or a symptom, TCM doctors must follow the principle of "Syndrome Dfferentiation", and then "Suit the Remedy to the Case". In order to gain a more definite and valuable diagnosis, it's important and necessary for the doctor to learn the detailed health information of the patient, including his/her disease duration, age, sex, height, weight, family history, urine, stool, diet, sleep, sweat, energy, mood (emotion), as well as the tongue conditions and the palm conditions, etc. If you would want our expert to create a TCM diagnosis, you're welcome to contact us.
