Sexual precocity should mainly distinguish asthenia from sthenia in syndrome differentiation. Asthenia refers to yin deficiency of the kidney with the symptoms of preceded secondary sex characters, concurrent hectic fever, night sweat, dysphoric feverish chest, palms and soles, red tongue with a little fur, thready and rapid pulse; sthenia refers to stagnation of the liver transforming into fire, with symptoms of preceded secondary sex characters, concurrent vexation, irascibility, chest distress, sigh, red tongue with yellowish fur, taut-thready-rapid pulse.

Symptoms and Signs of Sexual Precocity in TCM
1. Yin deficiency of the kidney
Main symptoms and signs: Premature mammary development and menstrual onset in girls, enlargement of genital organs in boys with erection of penis, malar flush, hectic fever, night sweat, dizziness, dysphoria with feverish sensation of chest, palms and soles, red tongue with a little fur, thready and rapid pulse.
Therapeutic method: Nourishing yin to eliminate fife.

2. Stagnation of the liver transforming into fire
Main symptoms and signs: Premature development of breasts, internal and external genital organs as well as menstrual onset in girls, enlargement of penis and testes in boys, low and deep voice, facial acne, erection of penis, ejaculation, chest distress and discomfort, vexation, irascibility, eructation, sigh, red tongue with yellowish fur, taut-rapid-thready pulse.
Therapeutic methods: Dispersing liver stagnation, clearing away heat from the heart and purging fire.
