Effect
Removing blood heat and stopping bleeding.

Indications
Bleeding due to blood-heat, marked by hematemesis and epistaxis with bright red blood, dry mouth and throat, reddish or deep red tongue and taut rapid pulse; including such diseases with the above symptoms as pulmonary tuberculosis and bronchiectasis with the symptom of hemoptysis and gastric ulcer with the symptom of hematemesis.

Ingredients
Sheng He Ye (fresh Folium Nelumbinis) 9g,
Sheng Ai Ye (fresh Folium Artemisiae Argyi) 9g,
Sheng Bai Ye (fresh Folium Biotae) 12g,
Radix Rehmanniae (Shengdihuang) 15g.

Explanation
Ce Bai Ye: The principal drug, removing heat from blood to stop bleeding.

Sheng Di: Clearing away heat from blood to stop bleeding, nourishing Yin and promoting the production of body fluids.

He Ye and Ai Ye: Stopping bleeding and removing blood stasis.

Administration
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
