Bai Ji Li 30 g,
Zhi Gan Cao 15 g.
Explanation
Dang Gui: Tonifying and coordinating blood, regulating menstruation.
Bai Shao: Nourishing blood and astringing Yin.
Shou Wu: Tonifying blood, supplementing essence, checking malaria, removing toxicity, moistening intestine.
Sheng Di: Clearing heat and coolling blood, stopping bleeding, nourishing yin.
Chuan Xiong: Promoting the circulation of blood and removing the stagnation of Qi, thus preventing other sticky-natured tonics in this prescription from bringing about the stagnation of Qi and blood.
Jing Jie: Dispelling wind and releasing exterior, promoting eruption, alleviating itching.
Huang Qi: Invigorating Qi and tonifying the spleen and stomach.
Bai Ji Li: Pacifying the liver and soothing the liver, dispelling wind and improving vision.
Fang Feng: Dispelling wind and releasing exterior, expelling wind-damp, alleviating pain.
Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
Administration
All the drugs are ground into fine powder. 12 g of the powder is decocted with Sheng Jiang 15 g for oral dose to be taken at any time.
