Rhizoma Zingiberis (Shengjiang)
Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin)
Explanation
Ban Xia: Being pungent in flavor and warm in nature, dispersing accumulation of
pathogens, letting the adverse flow of the stomach-Qi go downwards to arrest vomiting.
Sheng Jiang: Being pungent in taste and warm in nature, dispersing accumulation of
pathogens, regulating the stomach to arrest vomiting.
Huang Qi: Invigorating Qi and tonifying the spleen and stomach.
Rou Gui: Reinforcing fire and strengthening yang, dispelling cold to alleviate pain,
warming meridians and collaterals.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken 5 times a day.
