Damp Heat may be present if there is pronounced inflammation, swelling, pain and additional systemic Heat/Damp signs such as a red tongue with a greasy coat and a rapid, slippery pulse. Spleen deficiency is another possible factor which may cause hemorrhoids. In such cases, the weak Spleen fails to hold Blood in the vessels and allows Qi (energy) to sink resulting in protruding hemorrhoids and possibly even anal prolapse. General signs of Spleen Qi deficiency may include fatigue and bloating after meals. Finally, in cases where pain is severe, Blood stasis is the likely pattern. Hemorrhoids may contain blood clots and there will be additional systemic signs of blood stasis according to TCM.

Dosage:
The standard dosage is 5 tablets taken 2 to 3 times daily with or before meals. One bottle lasts users 14 to 21 days.
