Effect
Expelling pus and subduing swelling.

Indications
Syndrome of accumulation of cold-dampness and stagnated blood due to periappendicular

abscess, marked by suppurative periappendicular abscess no fever, squamous and dry

skin, swollen and feeling soft abdominal skin, and rapid pulse, including such

diseases with the above symptoms and signs as acute appendicitis complicated by

suppuration, appendicular abscess and chronic appendicitis.

Ingredients
Semen Coicis (Yiyiren) 30 g,
Radix Aconiti Lateralis Praeparata (Fuzi) 6 g,
Herba Patriniae (Baijiangcao)">Herba Patriniae (Baijiangcao) 15 g.

Explanation
Yi Yi Ren: The principal drug, being sweet and tasteless in flavor and slightly cold

in nature, removing dampness and subduing swelling.

Bai Jiang Cao: Expelling pus and removing toxin.

Fu Zi: Being pungent in flavor and warm in nature, assisting Yi Yi Ren in removing

cold-damp and promoting the flow of Qi.

Administration
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice (Taken originally in the form of

powder).
