Explanation
Ju Hua: Dispersing wind-heat, subduing liver yang, and removing liver heat to improve vision, clearing lung heat.
Chuan Xiong, Bai Zhi and Qiang Huo: Dispelling wind pathogen and relieving pain.
Xi Xin: Removing cold to relieve pain.
Bo He: Being used in larger dose so as to refresh the mind and dispel wind and heat pathogens.
Jing Jie and Fang Feng: Being pungent in taste and disperse in nature, dispelling wind pathogen in the upper body.
Tea: Being bitter in flavor and cold in nature, refreshing the mind, restraining the over-warm, over-dry, over-ascending, and over-dispersing nature of drugs for treating wind syndromes so as to coordinate their ascending and descending nature.
Jiang Can: Extinguishing wind to relieve spasm, dispelling wind and alleviating pain, resolving phlegm and dissipating accumulation.
Chan Tui: Dispersing wind-cold, relieving sore throat, relieving itching and promoting eruption, improving vision and removing nebula, extinguishing wind to relieve spasms.
Gan Cao: Tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
Administration
All the drugs are ground into fine powder. Take 6 g of the powder with green tea.
