This is a chronic infectious disease, most common in children and youths. The onset of the disease is insidious, and at the beginning a painless and beanlike nodule covered with normal skin appears. Then it gradually grows in size with more lesions appearing and the skin turns dark red after suppuration of the lesions. The suppurative lesions may rupture and discharge thin pus with flocculent material. Some ruptured lesions may heal, while other new lesions may rupture. Tuberculosis of the cervical lymph nodes may be treated by the following methods.
